Downtime...

As some of you may have noticed, my Web host is having brain farts all over the place lately. None of my sites are very usable thanks to the poor quality of service and support on the part of my host right now. The problems seem to have begun around noon on Friday, September 19th. The symptoms include random HTTP 500 (internal server error) messages or extremely long load times.
I'm in the process of switching to a host that is more reliable. This new host is perhaps one of the best in the industry according to all of the reviews that I've read. Let's hope I have better luck there.

You are correct though, if you are going to host some django site, don't go with DreamHost. Their major support is with PHP and MySQL. But I know you can also have Perl, and I have heard a lot about Ruby on rails lately. I don't know if it is supported or just allowed like django.
I attempted to start an account on Quote Boards this morning, but the site gave me an error after I entered my information. I tried signing up again, but it told me that an account was already created with that username and email address. I can't log in with the password I created, though! I can see on the public quoteboards list that my account has been created, though (I used the username with which I'm posting here).
I know you're probably busy with other stuff, but I'd appreciate it if you could look into it for me when you have a chance. QB looks way better than the Google Document in which I've been keeping my quotes up until now... I found you originally when looking at Thunderbird extensions at addons.mozilla.org.
